EPT 10 Prague Under Way

The European Poker Tour Season 10 Prague stop is under way. Season 10 event started earlier this year, and will continue with its next stop in Prague at the Hilton Prague Hotel, running from December 8 to December 18.In 2019, the first European Poker Tour opened to great success as it took advantage of the then burgeoning popularity of Texas Hold’em at the time. Now, the European Poker Tour has grown so much to be hosting the best live poker action in Europe throughout the year.
As a PokerStars sponsored event, eager poker players naturally have a chance to qualify for the event in their many online satellite tournament qualifiers.Although the qualifiers for the Prague event have wrapped up, you can still get ready to qualify for Season 10’s next stop in January 2014, where they head to the Atlantis Resort & Casino in the Bahamas.For the rest of us, PokerStars and other poker outlets will be broadcasting the event online; European viewers will be able to watch the event on television, courtesy of Sunset + Vine coverage.
The poker festival is set to host 11 days of poker action, including a 7-day €5,300 Main Event. The European Poker Tour is also set to partner up with the regional Eureka Poker Tour once again, adding on a €1,100 Eureka Main Event among the other 47 tournaments and various cash games spanning a good amount of poker disciplines. Other events on the already packed schedule include a €2,200 High Roller, a €10,300 EPT High Roller, a €5,300 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship and a €2,200 Open Face Chinese tournament with unlimited re-entries.
Last season, the European Poker Tour Main Event took place in Prague, attracting 864 players. The lucky player that ended up taking it all was Sweden’s Ramzi Jelassi, who claimed the top prize of €835,000 for his efforts.As mentioned, the European Poker Tour Season 10 trip will be heading to the lovely Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, later stopping in Deauville, Berlin and Sanremo. This year, the EPT will conclude in grand Monte-Carlo for the EPT Grand Final.
Full Tilt Poker Flipout Festival
From 21 March to 24 March the Full Tilt Poker Flipout Festival is running strong with $25,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.108 Flipout tournaments over the course of 12 events will run over the five day Flipout period. Each event will have a total of 9 tournaments with a freeroll to start every festival. And for every cash version of the Flipout tournaments, there are three entries per player available.
Players will flip their way through round one of every tournament and if their cards are good enough to take them through to the second round, players will have already burst through the bubble. In the second phase, all entrants will play it out in a normal tournament structure, but the difference being that they will not be playing to burst the bubble because they will already have made the money.
Round 2 is all about playing to move up the pay scale to improve their ROI.
On 21 March the Flipout festival will begin with a freeroll tournament giving players that have earned only a fraction of a Full Tilt Poker Point from real money ring games, sit and goes or tournaments a chance to enter. Once each of the 12 festivals begins with its $50 added Freeroll, every five minutes a new tournament will begin, but for cash.
The first of the cash tournaments in each event is a $0.22 buy-in event with $50 added, then $0.55 with $50 added, $1.10 with $100 added, $2.20 with $100 added, $3.30 with $100 added, $5.50 with $200 added, $11 with $250 added and $26 with $500 added.
The prize structures will remain the same until the Flipout super stack Main Event festival on Sunday 23 March. There will still be 9 tournaments, but the difference is that there will be more added dollars in each event with slightly higher buy-ins up to $55 in which there will $2,000 added.
In each of the tournaments in every festival, entrants that make it to the final table will all be awarded a free Full Tilt Poker baseball cap. Plus, the winner of the tournaments will receive their prize money and a Full Tilt Poker hoodie.To finish off the entire festival, Full Tilt Poker will have a final Flipout freeroll held on Saturday 29 March at 14:15 ET. There will be an amazing $5,000 worth of prizes for those that enter with an iPad Air™ Wi-Fi wrapped into a mass of other fantastic prizes.
To enter players must buy-in to at least five of the Full Tilt Poker tournaments during the festival, and they will be awarded the chance to get into the celebratory freeroll event. Plus anyone that can edge their way to 128th position will receive a Full Tilt Poker hoodie, while the top eight will win a Full Tilt Poker goodie bag with a back pack, Full Tilt Poker cap as well as a hoodie.
